If you are using your smartphone and have a conversation open, you won’t see a notification on your glasses – Focals are aware that you’re using your smartphone to communicate and won’t bother you with a redundant message. That’s also why you will see a single notification for updates from a group chat or a big social channel.
You might also want to check to be sure you didn’t enable Do not disturb on your glasses. Here’s how to check:
- Wear your glasses.
- Click to wake your display’s Now view.
- Move up to view Settings.
- If the Notification icon has a slash through it like this , Do Not Disturb is enabled. When Do Not Disturb is enabled, you won’t receive notifications on your glasses.
- Click to disable Do Not Disturb. The icon should now look like this.
