I’m not receiving messages on Focals

If you are using your smartphone and have a conversation open, you won’t see a notification on your glasses – Focals are aware that you’re using your smartphone to communicate and won’t bother you with a redundant message. That’s also why you will see a single notification for updates from a group chat or a big social channel.

You might also want to check to be sure you didn’t enable Do not disturb on your glasses. Here’s how to check:

  1. Wear your glasses.
  2. Click to wake your display’s Now view.
  3. Move up to view Settings.
  4. If the Notification icon has a slash through it like this dnd-on-icon.pngDo Not Disturb is enabled. When Do Not Disturb is enabled, you won’t receive notifications on your glasses.
  5. Click to disable Do Not Disturb. The icon should now look like this. dnd-off-icon.png
