I receive the 'Can’t connect to weather service' message

If you know that Location Services are enabled on your connected smartphone, it’s likely that you also need to grant location permissions within the Focals app. Here’s how you can enable location permissions:

  • Ensure Location Services are enabled in your smartphone settings.
  • See if Location Permissions are enabled in the Focals app.
  • Tap the Menu icon > Permissions.
  • You’ll see the same permissions settings that are currently set on your smartphone.
  • If Location is Disabled, tap the Change permissions in phone settings link at the bottom of the screen. Then, enable location permissions for the Focals app on your smartphone.

Submit a report through the Focals app if you still can’t view weather.
