New in 1.130 - Better tasks

Subtasks and sorting

You can now see subtasks and sort them by priority on Focals. Create subtasks for larger task items and assign due dates with either Google Tasks or Todoist and see them on the Tasks view. To sort tasks, enable the Google Tasks or Todoist ability from the Focals app:

  1. Select the Menu icon > Abilities.
  2. Select either the Google Tasks or Todoist slider.
  3. Sign into your account.
  4. On Focals, go to your Tasks view.
  5. Move up and click the Tasks List icon
  6. Click Due Today to see your most urgent tasks.
The Tasks view on Focals shows a parent task with two subtasks.

Subtasks created in either Todoist or Google Tasks now show on Focals.

Due Today is selected on the Tasks view.

To sort tasks by priority, move up and click Due Today.

Note

If you’re using Todoist, subtasks won’t appear nested under larger tasks. You’ll still see them on Focals—they just won’t be paired with their respective parent tasks.

Shopping lists with Google Tasks or Todoist

If you keep your grocery list with either Google Tasks or Todoist, you can now see these lists appear on the shopping list Now Moment when you enter a store. Previously, this was only available with Amazon Alexa’s shopping list.

Note

Make sure you have the words grocery or shopping in the list name so items display on Focals.

Shopping list appears on Focals.
